Weakling was a Sheffield-based band 2002-3 who split before gigging following the singer's departure and the bassist relocating to London. An alternative name for the band had been Nancy. Subsequently Dog Canute was formed by the guitarist and most of these arrangements became songs for that band ( hear them at dogcanute.bandcamp.com ).

This six track demo was recorded at Adam's Studio, Wakefield and mixed by Nick.

Simon and Nick were previously in The Midnight Choir (with vocalist Ziggy, with whom Nick went on to form Dog Canute).
Jon was previously in Sherbet Burp and Beach-Buggy. He subsequently played in Leeds-based Eiger.
Rob was the singer/guitarist in J*R (who reformed for some recent gigs)
