The Bland recorded live at The Leadmill, January 1986 - one of the Dolebusters gigs, which featured several local bands. This was the only time the band played their track "Pop Music"

The Bland were from Chesterfield and were familiar to Sheffield gig-goers in the mid-80s, playing frequent gigs at the Hallamshire and elsewhere. Their rare demo cassette and LP are both included elsewhere on STA, kindly donated to STA by Didz. Song titles, new "cover" photo and info provided by Didz - many thanks!

This tape was recently discovered by STA whilst sorting and rummaging through some old boxes (together with the Pulp Hull '86 tape, a live recording of Quite Unnerving and others - will be uploaded in due course).

The Bland were:
Rat (Androo) - vocals
Didz (David) - drums
Plod (Ivan) - guitar
