This is the second of two companion recordings of Spoon live at The Hallamshire Hotel, Sheffield in 1986. The other gig (December '86) is elsewhere on Sheffield Tape Archive, this one took place a month earlier, recorded 16th November 1986. Thanks again to Steve Dinsdale for digitising this and sending for inclusion on STA.

"Spoon take the stage at The Hallamshire for an improvised instrumental set which moves through various
phases hardly pausing for breath. The curious shouts of "melon !" from at least one audience member can be explained
by remembering that at Spoon's very first gig audience members were admitted free with a piece of fresh fruit"
