The Fuck City Shitters - a punk band operating in Sheffield 1986 - 89

The name came from guitarist Lou Gilbert's fellow lodger, a cynical artist called Rob. He sat one day on the settee in the lounge and spat cynically: “I've got a good name for your band: the Fuck City Shitters.”

These tracks are a selection of demos (Red Tape Studios) and live recordings ( The Hallamshire Hotel, West St.)

Peter Jones, Louis Gilbert, Michael Diggin and Paul Senkans.
AKA - (according to Pete): "Mik Diggin became Mik Slick (vocals) - he still thought it was 1973 not 1986, Lou Gilbert became Lou Gobshite (guitar), and somehow Paul Senkans became Ziggy Starlust (bass). I dug my heels in and remained Pete Fuck (drums)".

Paul was also known as Little Ziggy because his older brother Michael was "Ziggy" Senkans ( vocalist for The Midnight Choir and later, Dog Canute).
