The Midnight Choir changed it's name to Berserker Joe 1987 after this line-up had recorded the John Peel session, due to a change in musical style decided on the change in name. their final album "Berserker Joe" is available for download at::

Duncan Wheat ("Dippa" guitarist and keyboards) left the band, the songs were re-arranged as a 4-piece and a name change followed. The new name was initially going to be Big Moose rather than Berserker Joe (until one band member defected).

These tracks were recorded in Sheffield 1988 at Take Two Club, Attercliffe, The George IV, Infirmary Rd & rehearsal room Willey St. off The Wicker.
