Active in Sheffield between 1980-82 playing occasional gigs - venues including the Fargate Wimpy Bar, The Hallamshire Hotel and Graves Park (via a dangerously long chain of extension cables from Steve's house). Unfortunately plans to play in the front garden of Radio DJ Roger Moffatt fell through. Steve and Nick played a gig at The Hallamshire in 1984 as The Wacky Gardeners and some later recordings were done in 1985 as AMEG 85 (these tracks are on the AMEG 85 album).
